Bipolar Lofts is a sound collage show launched in December 2024 by @c_a_t_s_i_t_t_e_r  aka 636174736974746572 .  Each 10 minute episode combines cut-up tape loops, analog synths, prepared guitar, samples and field recordings for deep headphone listening with nods to the soundtracks of John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis , the sound collage experiments of Tod Dockstader, the hypnotic modular work of Suzanne Ciana and Jean-Michel Jarre and the reel-to-reel sonics of '70-'77 era CAN.
